Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k

Harriers made their way to Campbeltown for the tenth running of MOKRUN and it was another successful outing as Jack Arnold finished second in the half marathon while Susan MacRitchie retained her half marathon title.

Despite running a minute quicker than last year, Jack Arnold was unable to make it three in a row as Kenny Campbell of Ronhill Cambuslang Harriers won. Paul Clawson finished a few places back in sixth position.

Susan MacRitchie's time was over four and a half minutes quicker than last year and that was enough to win the race by over six minutes. Angela Campbell and Katherine Hylands weren't too far apart through the race with Katherine edging it in the end by fifteen seconds.

As well as the half marathon, five Harriers participated in the 10k race.

The undoubted highlight of the weekend was the post-race ceilidh as Harriers partied into the night before making the journey back to Glasgow the following day.
